A Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD) do Instituto Politécnico do Porto (P.PORTO) recebeu 2 docentes em mobilidade para fins de formação da Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid- Espanhã (E MADRID 153), entre 12 e 15 de novembro de 2019.
Os Professores Iván Huelves Illas e Lourdes Marco Pascual enviaram-nos o seguinte comentário sobre a sua visita:
“In the framework of an Erasmus Mobility Agreement among the Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD) of the Politécnico do Porto and the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid, Lourdes Marco and Iván Huelves, Spanish design teachers, carried out a visit to the Escola and a workshop with students of the Design and Multimedia Degree, from 12th to 15th November 2019.
Without any doubt the mobility was a terrific experience since the teacher Vítor Quelhas made us feel as in our own institution. We were able to visit all the facilities and infrastructure and meet most of the Design and Multimedia staff.
We highlight the opportunity to attend an evaluation session with Design students since we exchanged different points of view of how to perform better our critical reviews to student’s projects.
Regarding the workshop, we appreciate and thank to the ESMAD staff all the work to made it possible. The purpose was to introduce the students the possibilities of building semantic graphic interfaces through variable fonts and data collected by sensors. We shared the knowledge developed on the project www.sensorvariablefont.com.
Thanks to this first Erasmus Mobility, we are sure we will start building a stronger relationship between our two Design Schools, since we have many common things, and students from both institutions will benefit of future exchanges.”
